Children’s Day
Halloween

Academics

Beginner Group:

Students practised identifying and matching action words. For numeracy, they explored comparing sizes and quantities through concepts such as big and small, and more and less.

Intermediate Group:

Students strengthened their literacy skills by unscrambling words to form meaningful sentences. For numeracy, they were introduced to the concept of money, practising how to recognise, sort and count different denominations.

Advanced Group:

Students expanded their vocabulary by learning about antonyms and synonyms, identifying words with opposite and similar meanings. For numeracy, they applied their understanding of money through addition and subtraction activities, calculating total amounts and determining the correct change.

Sports

Students participated in yoga activities that encouraged flexibility, balance, body awareness and coordination. They also explored controlled breathing through fun activities, such as using straws to blow objects from one end to another, helping them practise breath control, focus and concentration.

Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

Students practised serving snacks and lunch to their friends through hands-on activities. These activities encouraged independence, responsibility and social interaction while developing important daily living skills such as following instructions, taking turns and helping others.

Art

Students explored different seasons and weather conditions through a variety of creative arts and crafts activities. They also enjoyed making special artwork in celebration of Children's Day and created Halloween-themed decorations to brighten up the centre for the festivities.
